Ok students, repeat after me. Todays Vocal topic... History is for the History community, Poetry is for the Poet's community...Journal is for...you get the drift.

Wading through the History challenge to find an authentic History story entry is no fun.

My mind grates, my teeth clench and I so wanna scream

What the Heck and Hell and Holy Moly is going on

I don't wanna use the really ugly words here

But they are so deserved

Especially if I go Jamaican on you cusses

Nobody in their right mind will read those

Advertisements you all are posting in the

Spots reserved for CHALLENGES

Was it Momma Combs who just made

A lovely rant about this mess

Can I please just read History stories in the history challenge

Goes for every other challenge as well

If you are gonna pay good money to enter a challenge

At least attempt a story that has a chance

Spam and crap just wastes my time

We really are drowning in the muck and murky waters

Gasping for air to breathe free again

I would like to swim unimpeded

Bring back the days of authenticity...

Thank you!!!

    There is something

  • AI should just be banned altogether. But does Vocal listen? Noooooo πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„

Great way to convey message in a creative way. It gets frustrating I imagine

Good job in sharing your feelings in such a creative way. I agree with you wholeheartedly. AI should just be a help once in a while not all the time in writing articles. There are a few in my notifications that seem to publish an article every few minutes and there are many. They are interesting for the most parts, but then they start repeating.

I thought you meant the advertisements on the comments.

I just reported one today, it said something about their departed father and then advertised something about fixing credit. I wish they would stay off my articles. They advertised on four or five of them. Glad to see this.

Yes!! This has been driving me bonkers lol.

  • Well said, Antoni. AI is a fine tool ..when used responsibly.

I agree and wish I would have wrote on this. Go to the β€˜ love letters …’ challenge. you have to scroll before you arrive at an actual proper entry. I find this ludicrous. Well said Antoni

How bizarre. I just checked out what you meant !

  • Know what you mean although I write some pieces and I am unsure where they should go, but the love letter a history piece? Excellent words

Well-wrought! I just encountered the same! Wanted to see what others submitted for the love letter challenge and had to go to page 3 to find one submitted to History, as the challenge called for. I goof on the categories sometimes (admittedly sometimes... intentionally as irony or sarcasm) but in this case it's a rule of the challenge! I should hope it will be immediate grounds for disqualification.
