Oh Ceiling Fan

What Goes Around Comes Around

The cyclical movements lay bare

Your friendly blades that only cut air.

Gentle movements on the stage

Of the ceiling whose dull haze

Cannot stop you once you start

In your rotating, rotating, rotating art.

Young eyes gaze up at you

As you go, tried and true.

They enjoy the woosh, woosh, you make

As you go and go, they watch you shake.

Oh ceiling fan, you keep us cool

In the summer like an indoor pool.

When it’s too hot to go outside,

Your hardwork fills us with pride.

We salute you, ceiling fan

For being a part of our daily plan.
