Of Lords and Kings
a poem on the balancing of justice and power

Magnificent heroes and valiant braves, we extol your glory,
Indomitable strength and power, etched in story.
In their realm, justice reigns, their word law,
Subjects obey unwavering, without a single flaw.
Their dominions stand tall, formidable armies at their side,
Endowed with opulence, riches that cannot hide.
Their lands abound, flourishing people thrive,
Disloyal foes all quiver, unable to survive.
Yet with great might, emerges responsibility,
To govern with fairness, devoid of hostility.
To nurture their people, not solely their own,
Guiding with sagacity, not a self-centered throne.
For a true leader transcends mere rule,
A servant to their people, a beacon to fuel.
Shielding and providing, imparting inspiration,
Leading with love and empathy, not through conflagration.
Though they exhibit valor and wisdom untold,
Justice prevails, no marionette strings to behold.
Hence, their reign endures, a legacy so grand,
Guiding both weak and strong with love's commanding hand.
