Of Fruit & Roots

A season for all things

Of Fruit & Roots

The wind made a consistent effort to lacerate the trees from their roots . But the trunks staunchly remained exactly where TMH so lay them .

And it made me wonder if the mysterious creations had knowledge of something man didn’t; or were they protected from the very fruit that poisoned us all?

Did they not have recognition of the child they birthed ?

Did the tasteless only exalt character once plucked from its mama?

We’d robbed her of her offspring and robbed ourselves of peace

So helplessly , we engage in turmoil with the wind ,being blown ambiguously across earths surfaces , dissipating prematurely through life fighting to remain grounded.

The wind blows us further and further away from our roots , but the high trunks staunchly remain without so much as a flinch.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-13
