Beneath the skies of shifting grey,

Where rivers sing and breezes play,

A city stands, both bold and true,

Glasgow's heart beats through and through.

From cobbled lanes to neon glow,

The Clyde's embrace, a steady flow.

Its bridges arch like arms held wide,

Welcoming all with a sense of pride.

The laughter rings in every street,

In every pub, in every greet.

With wit as sharp as winter's chill,

And warmth that lingers, soft and still.

Kelvingrove’s halls and green-banked parks,

Art and nature leave their marks.

The Barras hum with tales and trade,

A vibrant patchwork, hand-inlaid.

Through storm and sun, it stands so tall,

A tapestry that weaves us all.

Dear Glasgow, fierce, resilient, free,

You’re not just a place—you’re history.
