Dreams Like Stars

A poem

By Megha PavanagdPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Dreams are like stars sewn in velvet night,

Tiny sparks, soft but fiercely bright.

They whisper secrets only we hear,

Guiding us forward, defeating fear.

Aspirations climb like vines toward light,

Roots in the earth, yet reaching for height.

Each step, each slip, a chapter begun,

We chase the glow, we chase the sun.

In fields of doubt, when shadows grow long,

Dreams hum within us, a distant song.

Though paths may twist, and hope may wane,

Our visions flicker but never wane.

For dreams are promises, vows in the dark,

Lit by the quietest, strongest spark.

With courage as fuel and faith as the flame,

We rise to meet them, unbound by name.

So here’s to dreams, bold, fragile, and true—

A universe waiting inside of you.
