Mind Over Matter

An ode to mental health

Mind over matter.

If you don’t take care of your mind nothing else matters.

Trying not to think myself into brain splatter.

One of the biggest ways that we go insane

Is being trapped in the chaos of our own brains.

Like the rest of the body you have to feed the brain the right food.

Adjusting your thoughts creates the right mood.

Sometimes the problem isn’t just what you think up.

Maybe therapy is a must. Might have to shrink up.

Sit on the confider’s couch and divulge your thinking.

Bare your soul about the thoughts that have your kind sinking.

Perhaps you need medicine. Don’t be afraid to let it in.

Addressing the battle of mind if you hope to ever win.

Mental health works with our body because our mental brain is attached and affects our organs and every other aspect of our health as mere humans, ♥️🌹

It's especially important to take care of the mind as one grows older! A great one, Joe.
