Centuries lived,

Hearts mantled in wormwood

and draped in Red satin.

Here

we’ll celebrate the Earth’s tilt.

Together

we will glide on surfaces,

with hands tightly clasped

so we are ready when the Ocean finally hits us.

“Our love is down there,” You say.

“Passion will guide its tide forever.”

Never lost,

its Burning in those dark trenches.
