O God, I have been afflicted with severe harm and affliction

behind bars

By Kisama Riyo Published about a year ago 1 min read

O Allah, I have been afflicted with harm and severe affliction

O Allah, have mercy on me, for You are the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing

And do not let me continue on my path, the path of blazing fire

The evil enemy eats every tune he sings after it

Do not expel me, O Allah, from Your mercy, for I am blind

So suffice me with Your blessings and do not make them curses that stir up storms on the path

For whenever distress intensifies, I search for the light of the shining moon

For I, O Allah, have lived in this universe since my childhood

My childhood was lost behind bars of iron, suffering from fractures

And my body was shackled with a stick of bamboo, not silk

So free me, O Lord, from this prison, for it shackles me

And liberate Palestine, O Lord, on the Day of Liberation

For You are the Strong, the All-Seeing, the Able?

So I ask You, O Lord, to make us in Palestine in the blessing of liberation
