Oh universe, hear me
Palestine is my land and my catastrophe
My tears and my freedom
What should I do to defeat an evil person who incited my distress?
What should I do to get rid of an enemy who caused my setback?
And banished my smile from my lips and erased my laughter?
What should I do in a foreign land, even if I am crowned a king?
Will I be patient with the separation from my town
And leaving an occupier who withered my flower?
No, Palestine, I will return and spread the light of my generosity
And renew my longing to remove my crisis
So, oh universe, hear me, oh world, listen to me
For I am serious, I will reclaim my land and regain my freedom
And expel the thief of my land and plant my tree
And declare the independence of my country and the independence of my self.
About the Creator
Kisama Riyo
I have always been interested in poetry and essay, especially rhyme style, so I decided to post my essay here and see if I have any talent in poetry or not.
