O Butterfly Cinquain II
For Real This Time

Introduction
Two years ago, I was going to write a Butterfly Cinquin that looked like a Butterfly. I failed and wrote a Fibonacci poem. Since then, I have found ways of creating what I want in words and visual depictions.
It was probably also influenced by this thing that has been happening to me recently:
I found this desription on the net:
It is a nonostich (9-line poem) and uses the syllable count of the Crapsey Cinquain and then reverses it, dropping one of the center lines, hence the misnomer. Another way you might think of it is as a Mirror Cinquain minus one of the 2-syllable lines from the middle.
The music is still "Love Is Like A Butterfly" by Dolly Parton

Beautifully done. Love it, Mike
Nicely imagined, Mike. And the printed form above makes me think of a dragonfly, another worthy subject.
Aww beautiful poem and cool poetry form you used.
That's a great poem—gentle and full of light. Funny how something that didn’t work out at first led you somewhere even better. I really like how it flows, especially that ending: Fly On. Simple, hopeful, and just right. Have you thought about shaping it like a butterfly on the page?
Captivating poem and well written.
