Whats going to happen if I fail

Will your love still be there

Will I cause you more stress

Would you blame me for everything

If I fail at something maybe it wasn't for me

Maybe I should nurture what I am good at

I'm good at writing

I’m good at making people smile

I’m at making people feel

I’m good at listening

I'm good at showing sympathy

Even better at Empathy

I'm good at being me

Not what you are pushing me to be

Worry about being you. IF they don't like who that is, they don't belong in your life. Life's hard enough without trying to please someone else. Great poem, Emily <3

This poem is a raw and honest exploration of self-acceptance and fear of judgment. "I'm good at being me, not what you are pushing me to be." That struck a chord, so powerful in its simplicity. The vulnerability expressed makes the poem incredibly relatable and deeply moving.🌞🩶🤎

  • What I particularly appreciated was the gentle tone you set, making the poem feel like a quiet, intimate reflection on the importance of emotional growth and healing. It’s a reminder we all need—sometimes, the most important act of love we can offer is to ourselves. Thank you for sharing such a personal and heartwarming piece. I look forward to reading more of your work!
