-*-

She was looking for a smile to match her own,

she's been waiting for a sign that gives her hope;

and after all these many years she finally found

what she was looking all around.

-*-

They made a plan and was all complete;

nothing too formal, nothing too sweet.

They got their blessings from Mom and Dad,

Grandma's gold ring is now in her hand.

The party is over, the night is bright;

they look at each other and say...

...now what?

-*-

He was looking for a song to soothe his soul,

he was waiting for a dance that moved his bones;

and after all those many years he finally found

what he was looking all around.

-*-

They got a house and they call it home,

they split the spare keys for the front door.

He wants a dog but she brought her cat,

they love the place so, there is no turning back.

The house is shining, the rooms are bright;

they look at each other and say...

...now what?

-*-

They were looking for a thing you may call love,

they were working for a place you may call home;

and after all this many years they finally found

what they were looking all around.

-*-

Their hearts are filled, their smiles are bright;

they look at each other and say...

...This is what.
