Lessons in the Moment

Moments mark the soul—

but only if we catch them whole,

grasp them tight before they slip away.

Gratitude grows slow—

like age unfolding in quiet turns—

teaching us to hold the memories close,

the ones we barely see before they fade.

We live within a time so fragile,

until those we looked up to

begin to remind us

that our own story will close.

Many chase joy

in things that quietly wound,

blind to the cracks inside,

until the past outweighs the future.

Others reach for wisdom’s light,

hoping knowledge will humble their pride—

only to find that life’s puzzle

has no perfect fit, no single truth.

In this uncertainty lies the root—

the fragile seed of faith

that keeps us walking forward,

even when the way is lost.
