there’s nothing left in my world
you came and took it all away
no you no me nothing to see
there’s nothing left today
life is pale isolation
all choices wasted, broken
and i it’s tragic victim
cling to promises not yet spoken
there’s nothing left in my world
it seems i wasted my time
what’s yours is yours the way it is
and you will never let it be mine
life sucks and then you die
it seems a cruel and mandatory curse
and long before it gets better
it just gets a whole lot worse
there’s nothing left in my world
your harsh words took it all away
i heard every single thing you said
hidden by what you didn’t say
life is a fucking bitch
callous in it’s subversive confusion
there are no answers just risk and chances
and death is not a solution

Very pessimistic vision, my friend. But although I feel like this every now and then, I believe there’s light at the end of a tunnel. And perhaps ‘death is not a solution’, but the moments of light keep our life shining, no matter how hard it gets. And remember: when ‘there are no answers’, there’s writing, so we, writers, are the ones who know how to keep the balance like no one else :)
