Notes in the Winds

They somehow captured me and now I will sink within

Within his voice

I can feel freedom

And when he wrapped his scarf around his neck,

His smile brightens just a bit more

Crossing his feet, I know his a bit shy

Holding his own shoulder while I stare

"What's wrong? Is it my hair?"

He stumbles around with his hands, trying to find a comb

I laugh

He blushes and says "It's not funny! I don't like being in a mess"

And I knew

"I can't believe it, it's the end" I looked down

"What you do mean?"

I tried to smile as much as he could and was about to reach out but stop

Then music starts to play in the distance

The house we stood in gave weight to it all

"You can tell me you can trust me, you know?"

Tears start to roll down

"Maybe it's not the end, but maybe it's a start"

His teeth sparks with joy "That's the spirit! Look, I may don't know what it is but there will be a bright side."

I can feel my cold stare trying to believe him

But I know this is his start without history

The colors in my fingers are muddy

My clothes are ragged and torn

And this mirror is where he lives in the past

How much I wish I had your voice again

I've slept for so long and I don't know where

This is the moment where I don't speak of you ever again

For which I have gone alone in a bitter world
