Not in This Life

Maybe in the Next

Somewhere out there

I belong to you.

We walk together

in rose colored hues

and I sing to you.

-

But here

there is no forever.

Not with you.

-

Somewhere along the line

Somewhere out there in time

Somewhere we made it work

and it was all worth it

-

Somewhere out there,

You're still mine

but not in this life.

-

Somewhere out there

I've grown out my hair

and you are my life

and I am yours until the day I die

-

But not here.

Not in this life.
