A Long Time Comin'

What will you do then?

When the sky turns green

and the wind starts howlin'

'cause a storm's rollin' in?

-

And what will you do

when it settles in?

And what will you do

in the silence when it passes?

Sittin' there in the quiet

surrounded by all of your shit?

What will you do then?

-

I'll be out front waitin'

out front porch sittin'

singin' and porch pickin',

hollerin' and callin' it in.

It's time to dance again.

I've gotten used to this.

-

Green skies, roll in

You've been a long time comin'.
