"Northern Lights Over Callanish" By Angie Livingstone (The Glittering Fox)

Introduction

The Calanais Stones (or "Calanais I": Scottish Gaelic: Clachan Chalanais or Tursachan Chalanais) are an arrangement of standing stones placed in a cruciform pattern with a central stone circle, located on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland

This is another stone circle that Angie has painted and is as interesting and impressive as he previous paintings.

This is my thirty-eighth piece inspired by Angie's work, and I am grateful that she has allowed me to do this. This is a sonnet.

You can find more of her work on Facebook here

The music is "Northern Sky" by Nick Drake

  • Another beautiful pairing, Mike. This may be my favorite of all her paintings to date. Only 12 to go!
