Never hesitate to say I love you
And don’t forget to call
Time has its way
Of coming for us all
Once by your side
To wipe every tear
Held you in our arms
Chased away each fear
Making us so proud
Watching you grow
Into amazing young adults
With babes of your own
Tempered your gentle wings
So you could learn to fly
Fulfilling your dreams
We stand with such pride

When things start to change
We grow older and weary
Each and everyday

The love we hold inside
We just long to see your faces
To hear you’re doing fine
People come and go
Life’s constant change
