Inside every person there is a child that needs to be understood and to be heard, not to be taken as weak.
No one asked if you were tired,
if the weight you carry feels heavier today.
No one asked if the smile you wear is real
or just another mask for the world to see.
No one asked about the dreams you buried,
the words you swallowed,
the moments you wished someone had stayed.
The world moves too fast,
too loud, too careless—
it takes, it assumes, it forgets.
But in the quiet spaces between the noise,
you still matter.
Even if no one asks,
you are still here.
And that is enough.
He or she might be having one of those days and only just need an ear to listen. He or she might be going through something but still manage to light up the room. Lets see them inside their masks.
