No More Adventurous Than Love

Life can be no more adventurous
than love itself.
Life just gives up on you —
Where “I love you”
makes no sense anymore,
where unexplained feelings
lose their meaning too.
Wrecked, shattered,
hidden drops of what once was.
At times, losing yourself
with time itself —
Then realizing,
no, no, no —
not yet,
not till it slips away
like sand through your hands.
