Othered for your unique beauty…

Devalued for your differences…

Made to feel less than Beautiful…

Bullied for your attributes…

The tide is turning…

Remember LOVE is stronger than hate…

Author's Note: This poem is dedicated to ALL of my Ruby-Red Kings & Queens (including my beloved Big Momma, who was a Black woman born with red hair).

This piece was inspired by the recent TicTok trend that has declared ALL individuals with red hair to be Black—genetically by some as well as in theory by others because of the level of discrimination that they have experienced throughout their lives.

Additionally, a group of online individuals in the Black community have embraced red-haired individuals as their own and expressed their admiration for them and their beauty on TikTok, even giving redheads endearing nicknames such as: Red Velvet & Rose Gold.

Seeing the outpouring of love across the net has truly warmed my heart.

May this type of love-in-action spread across ALL racial and ethnic groups throughout the world!

The following video brings awareness to the plight of red-heads and showcases the power of love-in-action. Please enjoy:

Also, here is a fun, new theme song created for redheads:

Lastly, here is a picture of my doll son Sebastian and his doll date Sophie from their recent Junior Prom. They were named Prince and Princess of the prom and are proudly repping for the Red Velvet community:

Thanks for stopping by!

Much Love,

Tiffa Go 🌸

I love auburn hair, but wasn’t blessed with it. Red hair used to be synonymous with a firey temper. My Mum had the quick temper without her Dad’s red hair 🤣.

These ruby red kings and queens are some of the most beautiful people I’ve seen. Some people just hate for no reason, but I’m glad you have written this poem and is a part of the protective and empathetic side. I had no idea all this was going on, what a shame. But there’s power in sticking together. Congratulations on your Top Story Tiffy 🤗👌🏽♥️

I will say it again. We are all mixed up at some level. Remember slavery...we all got mixed up back then. But I love this yummy presentation TG. Why we gotta differentiate anyway. People be people. Oh well, Congrats on the FRO...red , black, green and all colors.

Wonderful!! Congratulations on your well-deserved top story!!🎉🎉🎉

  • Great sharing-- there are a lot of stories that says Mary Magdalene was a red head and the Black Madonna is a thing .. you connected the dots for me!

This was an awesome share, Tiffa! Like many others here, I didn't know about the struggles of being a Ginger. I knew they looked different, and people stare but I didn't know how deep it went. My brother was born with red hair. The older he got, the darker it got but you could still see red. Now I have to look for a pic of him when he was a kid, haha! If I had hair, I would dye it red for a couple weeks to join the cause and accept my new brothas and sistas into the family. Tiffa Go!!!
