Nightingale sing,

Sing of your woes,

Tell me the secrets,

Of all of my foes

Sing to me now,

Sing of my heart,

Sing now to me,

the beautiful parts

Nightingale sing,

Please sing to me,

Fly with me now,

so we can see

Sky up above

Ground down below

Show me a path

The one that I know

Nightingale sing,

Sing of the stars

Sing of the moon,

these battle scars

Silent is night,

Except for the song,

The nightingale sings,

sweetly and strong

Nightingale sing,

Bid me farewell,

I’ll see you again,

When I can’t tell

Sweetly and softly,

Lullaby sing

Thank you for holding me,

Under your wing
