Night to morning

The sky grew misty and black ,

as all the tired animals lay down and closed their sleepy eyes ,

the world stayed completely still , as if it had been struck frozen ,

nothing was heard except for the silent , tranquil rustling of the leaves in the farm ,

slowly , the radiant sun began to rise over the horizon ,

its light was warm and luminous ,

all the animals began to wake up ,

the birds started singing melodious tunes that sweetened the atmosphere ,

everyone was in a good mood ,

it was a happy day ,

waiting to be repeated .
