New York, New York

New York, New York

The city that never sleeps

The Concrete jungle

Where cabs fill the streets

Metropolis and Gotham are based off of you,

Many movies, tv shows, and music are too,

The city of wonder,

Where dreams become more,

The melting pot,

The golden door.

I still await,

The Empire State,

A city so nice,

They named it twice,

Someday I'll visit,

America's City,

The big rich town,

Metropolitan City.

With many names that they call it,

NYC, New York City,

The big apple, five boroughs,

New Amsterdam and fun city,

Someday I'll go there,

And see what it's like,

The landscape, skyscrapers,

And big city lights.

For Fun
