Welcome to the new year. We’re walking in to a new life.
This is a chance for us to start fresh and we can do right.
When the clock struck twelve on the first of the year
You still breathed life to show the world your purpose is clean.
Last year is over, so say goodbye to yesterday.
This year will hold better days as we walk in better ways.
From the new year celebration and ride home.
I knew that this would be the year I reached milestones.
I’m prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.
Hope and faith are the pathways that I’ll be led.
This is my new home. No guess to what I shall do here.
Mind sharp as a new spear. I’m ready to take on the new year.
