Nature Inspiration

Makes me feel good

By Seema PatelPublished 6 months ago 1 min read
Dandelion @Seema

My family spends their leisure

hiding behind digital screens.

It’s annoying and trigger,

I need inspiration, turn to nature.

I head to the neighborhood,

knowing there will be plenty

to flood me with good vibes.

I see:

dandelions

growing from a harsh concrete crack,

feeding the pollinators,

adding yellow cheer,

a lesson in resilience and survival.

Cliff swallows

migrated from South America

to enjoy California sun,

and to raise their chicks,

an inspiration on living life

with joy and bravery.

Tiger swallowtail chrysalises

hanging from the walls,

nobody will give them credit,

but they’re metamorphosing

into graceful butterflies,

an inspiration patience.

Chrysalis @Seema

So I go to nature, unfailingly

everyday, and come home

feeling better, and inspired.
