nature force

Truth of color as Truth of self.

Honest as tone of skin

whether

sun bleached, time capsul scars, or tan line divided.

There is power in loving your color.

Though

even my blood is a gemini hue.

Blue velvet to madder root when kissed by light.

Dynamic like psycadellic trips

stringing chartreuse

cadmium fever

cerulean debates

from personalities, auras, and undertones,

we are pigment gradients.

Rich sun rays on glacial clouds,

mysterious vast comos revel,

magical ethers of stained glass showers.

prism crescent spectrums -

gender, lovers, identities, and personalities

queer like perrywinkle

cottoncandy lust

fuchsia melted magenta dreams.

We are dual toned people of complex colorants.

With the curiosity of onyx

unique ombres of experience

muses to light’s playfulness.

There is power in being a lover to your color.

Knowledge is recognizing the spectrum.

Wisdom in appreciating other gradients.

the frutti tutti

the kelly green

melanin saturated to spare

matte, satin, glossed in finished.

You are ochre luster and sienna’s warmth

an oasis of lapis,

bliss of color oblivion,

pigment saturated love.

To wear your color, heart on sleeve

is intimate steadfast courage.

Manifesting a vibrancy,

as lace and indigo late

gold brilliance

ultraviolet grit.

Harness pride in natural hue

thalo to prussian

umber to eggshell

as cobalt isn’t a choice.

Like wearing the green of northern lights

embodying depth of a black hole

awe of glacier blue

and sugary sweet of rose blushed skin

- natural color is a nature force.
