Nag

“You don’t get to just nag someone into sleeping with you”

By JonaePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Your body is your...

He chewed at your brain,

Like an ache from your jaw to ...your Temple.

You grew tired, threw your viens

Vines of discourage, on switches of sleep deprivation, wrapped around you ever so tight.

An excuse won't make your bed at night.

From your thoughts to your soul

Your hair to your soles

You gave up

You gave away your right to choose.

You might not believe time exsists but there is not much of it left to loose.

As you told yourself the moments won't last.

You allowed yourself to suffer abuse.

You said you could take it…

You ignored that voice in your head that asked

“But can you shake this off?”

Your body is all you had to hold, and you disregarded it like clutter.

Disrespect

again then again to the one thing you truly own.

A stepping stone in the way of a bigger picture, right?

You listened to the wounded woman. Who just happened to be mothers, who didn’t choose any better.

“Do what you have to do”.

He wasn’t even a nice guy...

Troubled and you let his trouble bubble inside you.

Was there not an ounce of love left?

So naive to the fact that not all men give a shit

If he hates his mother, then he hates all others too.

But deep down you knew,

that's what makes me so angry with you.

You traded moments of peace for your future.

You held hands with the burning man.

Smiled right in his scorching red face

Truly alone with yourself.

No one to ask for help.

You decided you weren’t enough for you.

You allowed yourself to be weak

And now all that's left is a shell dead inside and bleak.
