An Adapted Sonnet On Positive Outcomes
Introduction
I thought I would write a poem of positive outcomes based on mythical figures. I have adapted the sonnet form but this is fourteen lines but they flow into each other over what would have been verse splits so it is effectively a single fourteen-line verse.
I've included "Jason and the Argonauts" by XTC as Jason is the first charater I refer to in my poem.

Jason Sailed And Found The Golden Fleece
The Girdle Of Hippolyta
Gifted By Her To Hercules
Theseus Was Saved By Ariadne's
Thread, Led Him From The Labyrinth
On Her Half-Shell Aphrodite Was Born
Eros And Psyche Found Loving
Daphne Became A Laurel Form,
Evergreen Loved By Apollo
Njord and Skadi Weathered The Storm
Freyr Found His True Love With Gerรฐr
All Through Time We Find Our Treasures
To Make Us Happy Forever
