I wish it would stop

Whatever it is

That is hurting you

All the things

That hurt you

.

I wish you'd get

That feeling you're looking for

Have that final sigh of relief

Realizing that

That chapter of your life is over

.

I wish you

The awareness

To know,

That you're

Getting your power back

.

You've lived through hell and survived

You don't see it, but

You are so strong

Even though

You don't think you are

.

There is power

In awareness

.

And although you feel

Damaged and broken

You are still strong

.

Although you feel

Weak and powerless

You are still strong

.

Although you feel

Sadness and cry

You are still strong

.

After all

The most damaged muscles

Are the strongest

I saw your cleavage and your obvious need to brand your reproductive capacities and stopped. Poetry is not about breasts.... Wait. Poetry is about breasts. Sorry. Please continue. You have been writing for so many years and you put your tits over a poem? Maybe I should put my penis on the cover of my next book and call it "The Ravage Rome Hath Wrought"
