My View Into The Future

What Do You See

Looking Ahead

And I wonder what I'll see

Will the world be falling apart

Will it be there for me

***************************************

Will the jobs be a plenty

Will the careers still be going

Will the schools be a journey

Will the colleges be open

****************************************

As I embark on my life

I wonder if I will take it

Will I take it by storm

Or will I barely be making it

*************************************

The world is a changing

If you don't see it you should

It's a world full of challenges

And it makes me wonder if I could

****************************************

Will I make a difference in the outcome

Or will I just pace time and flounder

What will happen next

Leaves everyone to wonder

**************************************

So onward we go to a future uncertain

Will we rise to the occasion and make a difference

In a world that is changing

And has so many faces

***********************************************

************************************************

This poem is dedicated to all the young people who will be graduationg this coming year, in June of 2025. One of those young people is my Grandson, "My Smiley Guy".

Like your Uncle Ricky used to say "May you take the world by storm".
