My two cats Yin and Yang

Both different as night and day

I have two cats called Yin and Yang

I have two cats called Yin and Yang

one moves like smoke, one like a sigh

they don’t chase light or wear a bell

they sit, they blink, they watch me lie

Yin’s the black one, calm and slow

her paws are velvet, never rushed

she knows when silence needs to stay

she curls where all the noise is hushed

Yang is white with storm-grey eyes

she answers back, she wants her say

she claws the wind then climbs my chest

and dares the quiet night to play

They don’t do tricks, they don’t obey

they’ve never cared for rules or fuss

they live their lives on their own terms

and somehow, still, they live with us

Your cats sound amazing. I've had pets that were independent like that. It's great how they have their own ways and still fit into our lives.
