My Teddy Bear

Counting the years we have been together,

Through happiness and sadness,

You were always there,

Giving me comfort and softness to hug.

Regardless of age and who would care,

I am grateful each day for having you,

Maybe you are a stuffed toy to most,

But for me you are my dearest companion.

When most people will have pet animal,

I have a teddy bear in substitute,

Something that somehow give warmth,

To my lonely soul searching for affection.
