My one, my love, my sweet

Tonight I kiss thee to greet

The beauty of your soul

Through windows gold

In the mien of your eyes

which send me down a rabbit hole

My one, my love, my sweet,

It is for you my heart doth beat

Your touch is a balm to my wound

Your mind and mine are well attuned

Forsooth, we meet again and yet again

In dreams that shows love’s gain

My one, my love, my sweet,

Remember the summer heat

The passion ever rises

With many unceasing surprises

On Earth our souls may have met

But oh, forever wherever remains this love duet

About the Creator

Eliza West

I love writing compelling stories with mysterious characters and cozy, soft friendships. When I'm not writing, I'm daydreaming or playing the piano and always with mug of bracing coffee in my hand.
