My Old Town

I went down for a look around

But nothing could be found

Suddenly someone tapped me on the shoulder and I looked around

At first he didn't make a sound

Then he said something profound

Told me the secret was hidden under a mound

Then he left and left me bereft

But thought I needed to check

Wasn't sure what I would collect

Hopefully it would have a positive effect

I went to check but there was nothing left

Hope I wouldn't end up in debt

Anyway did my best

Then went to the beach for a rest

Sat on the ground

Looked around

Then saw two people drown

Walked back the town

Felt like something was about to go down

A stranger looked at me with a strange frown

Seemed like a bit of a clown

I asked if this was a game

He thought I was lame

Nothing was the same

Now it was cold

Back in my old town

For Fun
