My husband is addicted to face book
He eats, drinks, and is in love with the internet

My husband is addicted to face book
My husband’s phone,
stuck to his face.
No time for me,
Facebook’s taken my place.
What does he see,
day and night there?
I feel so lonely,
yet he shows no care.
I call out his name,
but he doesn’t reply,
eyes locked on the screen
as hours drift by.
Once we were close,
a bond, a delight,
now a shadow,
lost in the night.
Will he notice,
will he ever see,
the hurt in my heart,
the end of us, we?
The glow of his phone,
an endless divide,
while I sit in silence,
love cast aside.
Not another woman,
yet it feels like this,
he turns away from me,
in cold, lonely bliss.
In the old days,
we would chat,
we would cuddle;
now it’s the phone
that holds his heart,
The internets tearing,
Our marriage apart.
