Boundaries are a Form of Love
People don’t necessarily appreciate you more just because you treat them well. Some people will remember a single cup of water you gave them; others will receive a bucket and still complain that you didn't give them the whole ocean.

Great haiku! Thank you!😉I get it too! I feel that way at times about regular readers. Then I remember what I do. I have time for a read for a read and not much more. I have my favorites that I try to get to, but don't always. I listen to medium.com on my drives now, rather than books on tape as I did. This year I am writing a book that involves conversations with elders. A busy year overall. Hoping to stay caught up with my read for read.
