My Granddaughter’s Dance Recital
A fun afternoon for all at her beach bash
Dance Recital
At a beach bash
Nice sunny day
Celebrating their year of dance
Everyone was happy to be there
~
Remembering last year
Everyone was so much smaller
Coming together to show us their talent
Inventive shows of older dancers
The beauty of the performances was wonderful
A full two hours of performance that seemed short
Loved my son and his daughter dancing the best.

I waited for this little dancer for many years
My son, my baby, was forty-one when she came along
I am so grateful for having her in my life - Cheers!
Another granddaughter rode with me for a three-hour sing-along
We stayed for dinner afterward, and that was just great
The girls jumped on the trampoline and played hide-and-seek.
Spending time with my family is always first-rate.
We left early enough to get home as there is school this week.

Tattoo Time
Several years ago now, my niece talked me into getting a Georgia peach tattoo with my daughter and my grandson's fiancee. At the time, it was a tough decision. We were going to Georgia for my grandson's graduation from basic training and to celebrate his marriage to his high school sweetheart.
