He stared in wonder

Had she not seen his gesture

But I

Trying to be polite, not giving the obvious cold shoulder stayed focused in my conversation

He walked over from across the room.

I tried to hide my irritation. I did not want to be sung a love song.

He called my name. I turned toward him acting surprised.

I gave him one of my fake replies.

He felt secure in her gaze. He always made a good first impression

Why would this be any different? He was in her class. No she did not want to get together to study for the test.

I was not impressed by this man, but he had scored better than me on the last test. He held the paper in front of me. How could I miss his 100%.

It was a totally practical matter, I said yes

He smiled, he was sure she liked him. He felt like he had made a good first impression. That first no was just her shyness. He was sure she would fall in love with him. After all didn't yes mean yes
