My Final Word

You wanted to avoid words.

You wanted to escape the weight of them.

So I will speak them for you:

You were a coward.

Not because you loved her,

but because you could not face me

and say it.

You hid in silence,

and left me with questions

I did not deserve.

You ended us,

not with goodbye,

but with cowardice.

And that

will always be your name in my heart.
