My enemy is the world,

As the world tries to separate.

A woman from her child.

A poor man from his money.

A boy from his toy.

They say this is God’s creation,

Yet the flaws of man persist.

They say it’s part of a plan,

But sometimes the only plan is pain.

They say there is another "they".

Plotting against you,

Causing the pain in this plan.

But those who claim "they",

Are the ones who make a painful plan.

A plan to separate good things.

A woman from her child.

A poor man from his money.

A boy from his toy.

There are many who try to separate,

And they rule the world.

They are my enemy,

And my enemy is the world.
