Orf the Dwarf
A bedtime story read to many children within the Dwarven Kingdoms about the Folk Hero Orf, the dwarf.

Once was Dwarf,
Who was named Orf.
He hailed from Leinsdorf,
And knew a man named Reinsdorf.
He was the strongest Dwarf,
Of course fathered by Dusseldorf.
One day on a Wharf,
A thought came to Orf.
A journey to Heikendorf,
Perhaps bold for a Dwarf,
But this was good strong Orf.
So came Time,
And he set off with a Chime.
Orf was known to Rhyme,
While on a great Climb.
Then came Mealtime,
Seasoned pork with Thyme.
Then after rest was a meeting at Pforzheim,
But it became cold as Jotunheim.
So Orf slept until Summertime,
Waking up to a new Paradigm.
The land was now Ash,
And Orf made a mad Dash.
He was now in a Thrash,
Over having slept in a Flash.
Then the sound of a Bash,
And then a Crash.
Orf had found a Clash,
Nonetheless over Trash.
So came a terrible Slash,
And Orf had ended the Whiplash.
Making a big Splash,
Orf had become the protector of Ash.
Now comes the End,
For our little dwarf Friend.
Oh he did Defend,
And most certainly he did Befriend.
Though one day he had to Expend,
On what was a very sad Bookend.
No one could Contend,
Unless they wanted to Offend.
So they all did Commend,
The friend they did Depend.
Though death did not Intend,
Death is not always one that can Comprehend.
Though it can be one you Reprehend,
And eventually make an Amend.
