My comfort

I find my comfort with you.

You and your smiles, with all your womanly wiles.

That laugh of contagion.

That which makes me run , to you, from you, with you, by you.

In the dark starry nights through the cold morning dew.

In the rain, through the pain, in the heat, through the wheat, fields of corn, till our kids are born.

I find comfort in our futures, and the love for our creatures.

Our children, our souls, our little doves, those who have all our loves.

I find comfort in the frustration and pain.

All the memories we will gain, of being worried for his health, and her stealth.

As we spend hours looking, and afterword stroking their little heads, before putting them in their beds.

There is comfort in the scary nights, those that give them frights.

The screams and shrieks of fear, those that make us come running near.

Of hours beckoning them to sleep, until they no longer weep.

Of the tales and stories we tell, until they once again feel well.

I find comfort when they grow up with you and me.

Something I wish to see, our family tree.

The comfort will be there when they are heartbreakers, and when their hearts are broken.

In the late nights woken, to their sobs and thoughts unspoken.

Of our advice ignored, their own needed to be explored.

My comfort of many times we cheer, our love and support clear, because there is comfort in those dear.

I find comfort in the loss we'll experience, because you will be there through the seriousness .

When our young leave to pursue their lives and goals, here will be comfort before fires and evening strolls.

My comfort will be lost in your eyes, while my body withers and dies, until our names are called to rise, to be in the comfort of the wise.
