My Colors Aren’t Your Colors

Original Poem by RAF

By RAF & CompanyPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I never really liked coloring

In between the lines.

That doesn't make me special

That just makes Me,

Me.

You see,

I like moon colors

Sing in room colors

Laugh on Zoom, bed till noon

I don’t assume colors.

These are truth colors

See white and blue collars

Bleeding into each other creating different hue colors

Have you seen the news colors?

My colors aren't your colors,

But the colors we share

Highlight our uniqueness

The colors we bare

Magnify our secrets.

I am Me colors

What does that mean colors?

Different shades, changing fades

Let it be colors.

I don't try and change my colors

Because that would feel

Color

Less
