My Black And White Corgi With My Dad

I miss them both so much. More than anything

SHEEBA With My Dad about 1972

For Sheeba, My Loyal Shadow

In black and white, a spirit so bright,

Sheeba, my companion, my love, my light.

With every wag and every glance,

You filled my world with joy—a trance.

Loyalty woven in each furry stride,

A clever heart, my faithful guide.

In laughter and tears, you stood by me,

A bond so deep, wild and free.

But then came the shadows, a thief in the night,

Cancer crept in, stole your light.

The world seemed darker, a heavy shroud,

As I mourned my friend, my heart unbowed.

Yet through the sorrow, your essence remains,

A flickering star in my heart's refrains.

I know you’re in heaven, where angels reside,

With my mam and dad, forever by your side.

Oh, how they cherish you, my dear furry friend,

In that peaceful realm, where love will not end.

Though time moves on, and days drift away,

Your spirit dances in memories that stay.

So here’s to you, my loyal friend,

In black and white, on you I depend.

As I cherish our memories, forever they'll be,

You’re more than a dog; you’re a piece of me.
