Musical

Don't Speak

Musical

1-1-12

A new day,

A new dawn, but

Also a new night,

A new dusk.

The difference ‘tween

Them is for you

To decide.

Make up your mind.

Move your body to the beat

Of the song you sing.

Carry the tune over the hills

And back.

Be light and merry

So it’s not

Necessary

To admonish.

No need though,

To punish.

No need to

Harm.

This is a time for newness

A time of harmony,

Melody and tune.

Life’s a musical.

Sing your way through

Like a bird in the sky.

Sing, stirred as a wind chime,

On no one’s time.

Follow a watch of

Your own making

Tick toc, tic, tock

Always changing

The music of time

Makes a life into

Something beautiful, spectacular

You make it your own.
