Like No Other
2/14/08
We are like no other.
We fight and blame,
Kill and maim.
Yet we dare to say
We are the best.
Fighting amongst ourselves
We are like no other.
They don’t murder unnecessarily,
They don’t hurt others without remorse.
We are one of a kind.
Yes indeed, a kind of hatred,
Of damn near self ruination.
We are like no other.
Our hazardous thoughts
Only fuel our dangerous actions.
Dangerous actions that take lives,
Actions that take homes,
Actions that steal freedom
We are like no other
Because too many do this for fun.
We hunt for sport,
We segregate out of ignorance,
We are a kind that kills
For power over everyone.
We are like no other.
