Moving Away

Loss of a Friend

By Deletha JolliffePublished 8 years ago 1 min read

There's no easy way to tell someone goodbye, just memories rushing through your head, and the question why?

No reason for their leaving, just that they have to go.

Hoping that the life they'll lead will tell them what they need to know.

Tears rolling down your face, happy tears, but mostly sad.

So even if they're far away, they won't forget what they had.

A friendship that started out and hopefully won't end, unless they have nothing in common or find another friend.

A friend is someone special, that you'll hold close to your heart, so that if someone new comes along, you'll know where to start.

sad poetry
